Course Details

Training Classes on Kaizen and 5S is available. It is a Lean and 6 Sigma tool. Kaizen Event is used to solve a particular problem and 5S is used for Work Place Organization “everything has a place and everything in its place”. The program outline is as follows:

Kaizen Event Criteria:

• Eliminate process villages with cells
• Combine operations for continuous flow
• Reduce setup times
• Reduce lot sizes
• Determine proper tooling needed and organize
• Visual factory
• Establish new metrics
• Establish supermarket
• Load level schedule
• Increase or decrease production based on new Takt time
• Safety improvements
• Maintenance programs or machine overhauls
• Process improvement
