Social Science is the branch of science which deals with Law, Economics, Geography, Politics, History, Linguistics, Archaeology, Anthropology, Sociology, and Psychology. It is the study of the society and the behavior pattern of the people residing in the society. The European Science foundation defines Social Science as the subject that observes and describes human beings by reading human minds.
Thoughtful intelligence, rational thinking, and investigative skills are required to read human minds and the study of Law needs these three qualities. It is important to know the law of the country where one resides. Chaos will occur if one does not know about courts and the legal systems of the country.
An enhanced understanding of society by learning economics helps the application of the law. Identifying scarce resources and distributing them among people of society increase efficacy. The knowledge of economics helps society to trace, review, anticipate, and foresee human behavior.
By studying Geography one understands how it has played an important role in the evolution of men, their thoughts, habitat, and surroundings. Learning physical geography is essential to gather knowledge about the allocation of natural resources and how the resources affect the settlement of humans in different parts of this world.
