The biggest school group in the UAE, GEMS Education has announced to merge two of its Sharjah schools that follows India’s CBSE syllabus.
State-of-the-art campus in Al Juwaizah is where Our Own English High School Sharjah, Boys, were to migrate. Following this lead, the faculty of the combined school will be made from both the schools’ teachers.
The group confirmed to Gulf News in a statement that the whole school complex in Al Juwaizah will be called as Our Own English High School Sharjah, Boys after the merger is done.
From the beginning of the new academic year of CBSE schools in April 2018 the name of GEMS New Our Own Private High School, will not be used.
Until grade 4 the school will be coeducational, and the girl students will be offered places at other GEMS Education schools from grade 5 upwards.
The use of all available space at the new campus has optimised, which allows ample provision to meet the highest educational standards of the needs of all the students.
The fees will remain similar due to the merger as said by the group.
“All pupils will pay the current OOEHS, Sharjah, Boys fees.”
