To help the individuals who wish to seek after advanced education, the Sharjah Department of Statistics and Community Development, DSCD, propelled the 'Sustainable Education Survey 2019', in a joint effort with Sharjah University, went for gathering information on the educational dimensions of natives in the emirate.
The review will cover Emiratis in Sharjah who have a certificate, higher confirmation, bachelor’s or master’s degrees, just as PhD holders. Other individual information to be gathered will incorporate occupation status, scholarly capabilities, institute of matriculation, zones of specialization, graduation year, graduation rate, inspiration to seek after education and offices required to accomplish this objective.
Regarding the survey, Sheikh Mohamed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the DSCD, said, "The survey is in line with the directives of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to collect and analyse data on the educational qualifications of UAE nationals in Sharjah. The survey's findings will be submitted to His Highness to help him make the right decision to promote sustainable and quality education."
The office will gather information by means of four strategies. The main, which is being done from 22nd May to ninth June, will incorporate an email sent to the heads of families whose information was gathered amid the Sharjah Census 2015 and refreshed in 2017 or has been taken from other information and regulatory records at the division.
The second technique, which will be executed from tenth twentieth June, is an electronic link posted via social media records of the DSCD and other government elements and media foundations in Sharjah.
The third technique will include addressing families and people who have not finished the structure to encourage them to include the missing data or give important data via telephone. This will be done from the 10th-25th June.
The fourth strategy will include leading field visits to families whose information was gathered amid the Sharjah Census 2015 and reconsidered in 2017 yet has not been refreshed.
DSCD focused on that it was focused on keeping up the secrecy of the respondents and mentioned people to affirm the receipt of instant messages and give precise data, to guarantee that education open doors are made accessible to all relatives.
The department noted the need to give a contact number and an ID number to help correspondences among candidates and educational service providers.
