Education is the current national priority of the UAE

Education 2020 strategy has been developed by the Ministry of Education of the UAE. The strategy is a series of five-year plans that are drafted for bringing significant qualitative improvement in the system of education, focusing on the way teachers teach and students grasp and learn. 

Strategies include:

• New teachers’ Codes
• Licensing system
• Evaluation system
• Revision of curriculum
• Inclusion of science and maths in English

The key focus:

The main focus is to transform K-12 programs for ensuring that the students are completely prepared to attend universities throughout the world and make them capable to compete in the global marketplace.

Mohamed bin Rashid Smart Learning Programme:

The launch of the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Learning Programme happed for shaping a new learning environment and culture in the government schools in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. 

The government provided a promotion to technology in schools for fostering future employment and 21st century among the youth of today aligning with the strategy to bring in computers and tablets in the school curriculum. The Federal Law No.29 of 2006 is the UAE’s first law for the protection of the rights for the people with special needs. The learning and education services for students with special needs are strongly supported by the UAE government.

The strategy of the Ministry of Education for 2017- 2021 is launched for bringing in an innovative education system to create a knowledgeable and globally competitive society. The system involves all age groups so that they can fulfill the labor market demand of the future. The output quality of the Ministry of Education is ensured, and the provision of best services is rendered for the internal and external customers.

About Worldteachers:

The UAE Ministry of Education is closely working with the Worldteachers for helping them recruit the inspiring and devoted teachers to be a part of their major education reform project. 

About Graduate Training Program:

Over 1,000 graduates are invited to take an active part in the graduate teacher training program. The condition is that one of the major subjects must be English, Sports, Health or Computer Science. The participants will enter a 2-year training program, and at the end, the candidate will have a complete teaching qualification and can upgrade to the qualified teacher salary scale. It’s an amazing and well-paid opportunity to train as a qualified teacher and experience the lifestyle of a stimulating world.

New Program for 2017:

The part of the recruitment drive is looking for certified science and math teachers possessing a Bachelor’s Degree and two years of teaching experience in any middle or high school. These teachers can participate in the new program the government schools of the UAE.

Things to consider:

The successful applicants will be given placement in an advanced sciences Program and they can teach science and math subjects.

The accepted teachers will be eligible to teach elite students from grades 6 to 9 with the objective to make the students ready to meet the demanding entry requirement of the top universities in the UAE and overseas.

The search is for the passionate, motivated and masterful teachers qualified to teach at the Advanced Placement High School level. The teachers must be capable of encouraging their students to grow and develop as entrepreneurs and leaders.

Education has been made compulsory for all the Emirati children who are aged 5 and above, and the expat residents. The primary, as well as the secondary education in the state academies, is given free of cost to all the UAE nationals who are up to the age of 18.
