Though most of us keep ourselves busy watching cartoons while our mom feeds some sugary cereal, there are a few kids on the block who are more interested in performing surgeries, learning complex languages or studying things that we haven’t even heard of.
Akrit Jaiswal
In the early 20s, Akrit Jaswal is a physician and has more than a decade’s experience working in this field. A citizen of India, he is reported to have performed the first surgery when he was just 7 years old. Akrit started talking and walking when he was just 10 months old, writing when he was two and begun reading Shakespeare at just 5. At the age of 7, he operated on an 8-year-old whose fingers fused together. Akrit, a medical genius, points out that though he has a number of medical ideas, he is presently focusing on developing a treatment for cancer. “I’ve developed a concept called oral gene therapy on the basis of my research and my theories.” He added, “I’m quite dedicated towards working on this mechanism.” This keenness to find a cure for cancer brought him fame and attention. Oprah Show featured this youngster as “the little genius”.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart started composing at the age of 5 though his first symphony was written when he was 8. By the time Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart turned 6, he was a wonderful violinist and pianist and has been traveling with sister Maria Anna throughout Europe performing for the royalty. He is not just the greatest composer of his time, but, the most recognized child prodigy in history too.
After he grew up, he moved to Vienna and started earning a living as a composer and a pianist. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart died at the age of 35 but within this short span of time, this genius gifted the world several compositions in varying musical forms like symphony, opera, masses as well as chamber music.
Pablo Picasso
