Curious to know some special ways to spark curiosity in children, this year?
With the New Year, let us give children new things to look forward to; see, learn, enjoy, aim for – and achieve. The greater their curiosity to know more and better, the greater would develop their ability to learn and make new things. With that would increase their level of confidence and sense of independence. With time, all these positive traits would unite to reach them to a better, brighter future – a great part of which could be simply chosen, or even created by them. Let us give them that power.
Let us spark, and then fan the natural curiosity in children.
Let Them Know You Care. More.
Be you a parent, teacher, elder sibling, friend or neighbor of a child, please express that you care for him or her. Care enough to notice the child, encourage the child, and yes – answer a child’s questions. Just answering is not enough; one has to respond to a child with a lot of time, interest, encouragement, love and intelligence. And respond in such a way that all the question is not answered; an interesting part of it is left unanswered, for the child to find out for himself / herself.
This is where curiosity comes into play.
Whatever be the child’s query, in today’s age of the Internet, Apps and so much of online authentic answers available, finding a suitable response would not be difficult for any of us. The idea is to give that response, and then encourage the child to find out more. This year, let us show a child we care. More.
Ask Kids Questions
You have just told your child why the grass is green. Now wonder aloud, “What could be inside a rose, to make it red, pink or yellow?” Or, “What is a Talking Drone?” Ask your child if s/he could help you find that out.
Utilize the child’s curiosity, to fan its fire.
Other than sparking curiosity, this would also fill the child with a sense of responsibility and confidence. The responsibility to find the correct answers, to contribute to the world; and the confidence that s/he CAN do it.
The child might put your question before the teacher, class, friends or even try to find the answer from sites that give authentic answers. In any which way, the child would strive to answer your question. With pleasure, pride and renewed curiosity.

Introduce New Interests to The Child
This is a fresh new year. How about some freshness in your child’s interests? How about giving him/her some new things to admire, think about, learn? How about sparking his/her curiosity afresh?
If your child loves reading and traveling, and you have already got him/her books and taken the family out on a lovely winter holiday, why don’t you see if your child is curious about learning how to CREATE things, now? Ask your child about such great possibilities. Enroll the child into such a class that can teach children fun, futuristic skills that both spark curiosity and impart extremely relevant knowledge.Chances are, you would realize your child is a budding genius in a field just introduced to him/her! Many new, engaging and future-friendly subjects are attracting children like magnets today. Your children could be curious about knowing them, too.
Gift children new interests, this year.
Let your Child Communicate
Correct communication is a great source of enhancing interest, knowledge and all other positive traits.
Curiosity develops from interesting things communicated to us. When we see or hear something new, different or unique, we get curious to know more about it.
In today’s age of instant answers and information on the Net, we need new, great, futuristic elements, to spark the interest of our intelligent children.
Having some new knowledge, languages and possibilities communicated to them, or simply helping them to communicate better with new, different people, could be the answer.

Bring Newness to Life
The newer things and people children come across, the greater would grow their curiosity to know more, beyond the things they already know.
Let us find out about new knowledge, interests, activities, challenges and possibilities on the horizon this year – and present them before our children. To make them more curious – to know more, enjoy more, evolve more, and prosper more.
A Happy New Year to All.
