Because she is a native speaker, she understands nuances of English and is able to correct small mistakes, but she does so in a very gentle, sincere way. Amanda has been an outstanding teacher for our children, twins that she started teaching when they were in Grade 4 and continued through to Grade 6. Amanda was exceptionally agile at adapting her own knowledge and experience with different curriculum to ensure the right data and knowledge was imparted to my children. She used different learning tools and techniques to ensure they remained engaged (a tough task, as they are easily bored!) Her patience, humour and calm temperament created the best possible learning experience that my children could ask for at home - we were terribly sorry to see her go, and have recommended her to several friends since. Further, she was never late and always informed us ahead of time if there was a change to the regular schedule.

Stephen has helped me to progress very quickly in maths, especially in areas I struggle most. He has picked up on the areas that I find tough expeditiously and adapted to my preferred learning style. He has a calm manner and has adapted really well to teaching online, we have been having lessons for over one year and transitioned from one to one lessons to virtual lessons due to COVID-19.
