Leslie is a great native teacher, before I met her I studied in a center but there were many students and I could not focus, (also used to study longer hours to finish a level) as we were 9 in a classroom. My daughter failed the math test twice when she was studying with other tutors, but when padraig took over she passed right away with only 3 mistakes out of 60 questions, and she got accepted in the school. I am a primary school teacher from Ireland where I taught for three years. This is now my second year teaching in Abu Dhabi. I have taught a variety if classes - KG2, Grade 2, Grade 3 and Grade 4. I have been tutoring children after school for the last three years. The children I taught were from the ages of 5 to 12. I gave them additional support, guidance and teaching in Maths, Science and English - reading, writing and oral language. I always think it is important to get the know the children I work with and how they learn best. This way I can alter my teaching styles to suit your child and provide a comfortable environment for them to learn.

Tutoring Approach

I plan my lessons based on the children's needs - what areas they need to focus on first. I will also try to align my teaching with your child's classroom learning. This ensures your child has a better understanding of their current school learning. I also see the benefits of relating the child's learning to the real world by giving real life examples. This helps children develop their problem solving and critical thinking skills.
