Mrs Jhonson is my current tuition teacher. She is a very amazing teacher anyone could ever as for. And also teaches me Eng, Sci and Math. Her teaching style is really amazing by giving practice questions and good examples related to the subject. For English I had difficulties writing stories and good ideas but with her help now I understood how to write stories and how to use brilliant ideas in the stories. For math's she explains the concepts clearly and gives couple of practice q's and worksheets. That way I have understood the topic fractions and percentages which i use to have difficulties with but now i don't have difficulties. For Sci I had difficulties with the topic 'cell'. So, now I don't have any because of Mrs Jhonson who helped me. I also learned interesting and new things about cell.

Mr. Abed is really patient and tries different ways to teach us. My time with him as a teacher was amazing. He changed my dislike for math into actually enjoying it. He figures out where I struggle and gives me work to help me understand those parts better. My grades went up from a B to an A in just 2 months! I am deeply grateful to God for leading me to Abed as a math tutor for my daughter. Her grades have significantly improved, going from poor to much better. I've been learning Mandarin with Tracy for a year and have found her to be competent, responsible and dedicated. My situation is a little different from the average Mandarin student as I can converse at a basic level but am fairly illiterate, Tracy was able to amend her syllabus to help me build a strong foundation. And while she is a very strict teacher - emphasising on the precise hanyu pinyin for example- lessons with her are truly enjoyable.

Tracy Lao shi is a very honest person. There is no doubt that she is a skilled teacher but she is also a geniun teacher who really cares about her student. Initially, these were in person, at her house, but we have since transitioned to entirely remote learning due to the pandemic: a transition that was seamless and that Tracy has taken great effort to ensure was uninterrupted and retains a high quality of learning. I spent quite a bit of time looking for a Chinese teacher when I came to Abu Dhabi, and I couldn't be happier that I decided to go with Tracy. Coming from a Chinese background, but having lived in the west for a long period, Tracy is very well placed to teach Chinese with a deep understanding of both cultures - something she leverages extremely well, making mapping between the two cultures when learning a much simpler process. During lessons, we follow the Easy Steps to Chinese book series as a guide, however Tracy works hard to produce personalised lesson plans that add much more colour and context to just the material in the book. I've always found that her plans are well tailored to my learning style and go into additional detail where I need it - often pre-empting my questions! I particularly like her style of teaching: we learn Chinese in a laid back and comfortable atmosphere. That is not to say that the pace is needlessly slow; quite the opposite in fact: Tracy pushes me to maximise my abilities. We have fun in lessons, making sure to enjoy the process. Tracy doesn't ever shy away from complex questions, and will always come prepared to a following lesson if ever she's unsatisfied with an answer she gives. When struggling with something, she is patient and will always take the time to ensure that it becomes well understood, rather than just skimming over it. In all, I feel I've been very lucky to find Tracy. I am looking to continue my lessons for the foreseeable future, as I've not once stopped enjoying the language learning while working with her. I have been with Tracy for about 2 years now. If you're seriously considering exploring China's culture and learning Mandarin, I would highly recommend that you pick Tracy as the guide for your journey. There are few whom I would describe to be willing to go above and beyond for you education, she is definitely one of them. Learning a new language is a difficult and sometimes frustrating experience, nevertheless there was never a time I felt short of support and guidance. Her proficient knowledge of both Mandarin and English helped clear any misconceptions I had. Mr Salman is an exceptional chemistry teacher; he always ensures that I've perfectly understood a concept through analogies and rigorous explanations. I have improved considerably in my GCSE chemistry, feeling increasingly confident in each lesson. He truly has a passion for chemistry and can easily answer a plethora of questions, clearing any doubts quickly. I find the pace of the lesson to be perfect, quick and efficient when needed and slow and thorough when required.

He explains the topics in amazing depth and insight on the issues I want to study and grasp for the day in a very brief manner. He can also help you to solve past papers and provide you with more notes to go along with your school notes to help you comprehend things so much better. I'd absolutely recommend it!
