Ms. Michelle Cheong is a very nice Chinese teacher. She has good experience in teaching children Chinese with fun and interesting methods. Even during the time of using online teaching, she successfully helps the 7 years old boy revising the Chinese assessment and he got an outstanding grade in this year. Zein is a fantastic teacher who literally saved the day for both my girls who had a not so great experience with a previous teacher. I was extremely worried that my eldest would lose interest in piano, but zein quickly understood how to handle her and with zein she aced her grade 3 Trinity College exam with a top score. Zein is patient, extremely organized, provides detailed and thorough feedback post every session and sets very clear expectations for the following session. Her piano studio is welcoming and quiet and equipped with a top notch standing piano. Zein understand the Trinity College curriculum and worked very hard with my daughter to set her up for success. She's very technology savvy and continued to tutor my daughter seamlessly during Quarantine time and prepared her well for grade 3 exam. I can't recommend zein more to anyone, I wish we met her earlier!

Zein is a wonderful and talented instructor. She is very patient and caring when working with her students. She is a knowledgeable and energetic teacher who imparts good techniques and at the same time instills a lifelong appreciation of music. Zein specializes in piano and tailors lessons to fit the students needs. My 11 year daughter had almost lost interest but when Zein started teaching her she managed to restore her interest and confidence in playing the piano. I've been a student of Zein's for the past 2+ Years now at 3 times per week, and it's been a great experience! Starting from scratch as an adult learner is always tough but her learning style, technique and respect towards each persons learning potential makes the lessons enjoyable and highly productive. She is easy going and open to questions and doesn't make you feel self conscious about any difficulties you might have. I would say i'm very happy with the progress iv'e made with Zein so far and i can tell from my playing in front of other people! Zein is a very dedicated teacher. She is professional and passionate about music, which show clearly during her sessions. My 7 year old daughter loves when Zein shares information about music and piano as an instrument. Her teaching style is simple and clear, especially for kids. We started the lessons more than a year a ago, when my daughter was almost 6, which is relatively a young age for piano. It was challenging at first, however the progress, commitment and the passion my daughter has for piano today is simply because of Zein.

Dr Lui is a kind, patient, supportive and highly professional tutor. I have met many, many tutors over a five-year period seeking help to support my son and Dr Lui stands out as the best one I have ever employed. His lessons are well planned, enjoyable, interesting and relaxed. Dr Lui struck up an instantaneous rapport with my son, who lacked confidence and motivation towards his science GCSE. He not only makes the subject he teaches interesting, he also inspires and motivates my son to do well. Dr Lui was very clear with his explanation and his pace of teaching depends on whether a certain area of a topic was understood or not. He prepared clear Powerpoints for each session followed by sending exam homework that supports the learning and assesses my son’s understanding and exam techniques. He would then go through the homework with my son and explains where mistakes were made and how to improve. As a result of 10 months of very engaging and interactive online lessons with Dr Lui, my son went from predicted grades of 6s to achieving three 9s for his Triples Sciences for this summer’s GCSE exams. I would highly recommend Dr Lui to any students lacking confidence, understanding and motivation.

Thanks to Stephen, Sciences are finally making some sense and are actually enjoyable for my son ! After multiple unsuccessful interviews with local tutors, we were lucky enough to come across Stephen and honestly he doesn't disappoint. My son had an immediate liking to Stephen and his personality, and directly after the initial interview/meeting we knew he was the man for us to assist our son in his study and preparation for the upcoming exams. After the first lesson, being an initial discussion and review with my son of his current knowledge, Stephen was able to better understand the weaker topics vs those he had more strength in knowledge on and commenced with the weaker core topics first. He reviewed the entire exam syllabus of core topics and secondary topics, with emphasis on those core topics and moving onto the secondary. Stephen moves through onto the next topic, only once my son has a good grasp of the current topic being learnt. Over the past lessons with Stephen, it has become very clear what a huge learning gap there is for us between a classroom teaching style vs a one on one private lesson, and I only wish that we had have sourced him sooner. Although a 2-hour lesson appeared daunting at the time, Stephen has managed to keep my son fully engaged for each of the lessons, regardless of the topic. After each lesson my son is given exam based homework, which reiterates the topics and subject matters covered within the lesson, to be completed prior to the following lesson. The homework is marked and then discussed during the next scheduled lesson, in such a way that he encourages my son to answer and think without just simply providing him the answers. They review the hits and misses and discuss any misunderstandings from each question. Reinforcing the previous works learning, has really assisted with my sons retained knowledge, having that repeat-repeat type of method has been of great benefit. Stephen updates me with my sons progress after every single lesson in a detailed manner, either online or through mail. His knowledge, his passion and his delivery to my son’s lessons and homework has surpassed my expectation. The commitment, support and persistence of Stephen hasn’t faulted over the many lessons already completed. Nor has never judged my son for the level (grade) at which he is currently achieving, he only encourages him more to strive and to achieve in a positive manner, as if my son was his only student and his only focus. Overall, regardless of the outcome of the exams, the additional knowledge and confidence that Stephen has instilled in my son heading into the iGCSE exams, has had such a positive effect, it is invaluable. I highly recommend Stephen to any level of student studying Sciences.

She is absolutely fantastic with my 5yr old with her phonic reading, writing and numbers.
