At the end, I like to check the student for understanding of the lesson. Throughout the lesson, I give praise to the student t build confidence. At the end, I ask if their are any questions from the student or parent and talk about the next steps! I have worked with all kinds of students and studied special classes that focus on behavior as well as readiness and learning to adapt my lessons to the child's level and way in which he/she learns.
