I was born, educated and trained as a Primary School Teacher in the UK. I studied  BA (Hons) Primary Education degree specialising in Early Years Education at Manchester Metropolitan University. Throughout my studies I worked in both private and public Early Years settings and Primary Schools (ages 4-11). After completing my teacher training I taught in a Primary School before moving to the UAE in 2016.  Since moving to the UAE, I have taught in KG 1 and 2 and Grade 1 classrooms as well as provided extra tuition.  Throughout my teaching practice I have always had a passion for teaching early reading and writing skills.  I am familiar with both the British and American curriculum and many phonic programmes.

I am a passionate teacher who believes that successful learning happens when a child is encouraged to think for themselves, feels supported and is comfortable in their learning environment. I value one-to-one teaching as it allows me to build good relationships with students. I feel that my experience in tutoring students from grades 1- 10 would allow me to improve grades of any students.

I feel that an active approach to learning is very important when it comes to tutoring. One where the child is not always siting down while learning. I feel a child learns best when they are interacting with the content they are learning. Using real life examples in learning allows the child to relate the learning to themselves and therefore understand the content better. Most of all I feel that the learning experience must be a fun one so that the child is interested and wants to learn more. All of my students have improved their grades with my help on their school work.

I hold an International Professional Graduate Certificate in Teaching Practice (UK Level 6) in Early Years from Liverpool Hope University. My professional journey has been shaped by hands-on roles that have honed my skills in delivering high-quality early childhood education.

As an FS2 Maternity Cover Teacher at Mamoura British Academy, I developed and implemented engaging lesson plans aligned with the FS2 curriculum, effectively utilizing technology and innovative teaching strategies.
