Taking visual art classes with Rosanna was an absolute pleasure, and I can’t recommend her enough! Under her guidance, I learned to create portraits and landscapes using multiple methods of printmaking and painting. We explored different mediums, including pencil, charcoal, acrylic, ink, oils, and watercolor, with Rosanna patiently guiding me through each one. I especially loved learning new techniques like continuous line drawing, blind contour, and shading, which significantly boosted my skills and confidence. For my final projects, I completed a realistic portrait and a relief print of a landscape—both of which I’m incredibly proud of, thanks to Rosanna’s expert guidance. Her ability to break down complex techniques and tailor her teaching to my learning style was truly remarkable. Rosanna is not only skilled and passionate but also an incredibly encouraging teacher. Rosanna was a great tutor for our 7 year old son. He needed extra help with maths and English when he moved to his new school and thanks to Rosanna he soon caught up with his classmates. Despite teaching at an American school, she seamlessly adjusted to the British curriculum and made learning enjoyable thanks to her wonderful way with children. She was always on time and always had a great attitude.

I took my Financial Management (F9) paper with him. He is good at clearly explaining difficult concepts and any doubts I had about the topics. He also showed me the areas I needed to improve in order to pass the exam and the classes with him helped to improve my understanding and answering techniques of the exam-style questions. Overall, taking classes with Mr Umair aided me in building a strong foundation in the basics of F9.
