Course Details

A mathematics programme (for grade 2 - grade 9) that makes the students look at maths in a fun way. This programme is a collaboration between SIP Academy & Institute for Promotion of Mathematics (India).

The programme aims at making the basic concepts of mathematics clear & firm, by making the students tackle mathematical problems outside the routine path of school exams. 

It comprises of thought-provoking & challenging topics, thereby urging the students to solve it by applying the base concepts, and not by simply applying a memorised formula. It's a 6 months programme, at the end of which, a Scholarship Examination would be conducted.

Course Details

The programme covers areas like pronunciation, diction, choice of right words, positive body language, confident public speaking & also certain aspects of grammar. We also focus on some written communication, because written & oral communication should complement each other.

This overall approach helps to improve above all the above areas - leading to overall personality development. Foundation course - 4 months Advanced course - 9 months.

Good handwriting skills are among the most important requirements to create a good impression on teachers and employers. The Learning Method of handwriting also creates links to enhance the learning of spelling, vocabulary & composition.

Abacus is an ancient tool used for doing mathematical calculations, it uses rows of beads to do calculations. It was invented by the Chinese. Abacus is used to do quick calculations.

Abacus helps a child visualise number and related calculations, after enough practice the child is equipped to do mental maths or arithmetic in a quicker way producing correct results every time.

Abacus can be learnt at any age, however, we recommend a child should start learning Abacus from the age of 4 to 14 years.

It helps in improving a child’s visualisation, capabilities when a person visualises, he or she concentrates more and every time they get a correct answer, they are encouraged to do more which in turn helps a lot in concentration development.

The first of its kind in the UAE. The program helps to achieve co-ordination of the left & right brains. The aim is to activate the midbrain. The midbrain acts as a sort of control tower of consciousness and is equipped with highly advanced intelligence. If a person develops his midbrain, he will acquire a memory that is far enhanced than others. This also helps him/her to focus more deeply on things, thereby leading to an increase in concentration. Another interesting effect of midbrain activation that it allows children to sense the visual properties of objects without actually seeing them with their eyes (blindfolded).

Course Details

Most brain development in children occurs primarily before the age of 14, with much of that development taking place in the first several years of life. This Program is designed to develop the integrated and motoring functions from both sides of the brain. When children manipulate the beads of the Abacus, communication between the hands and the brain stimulates the brain’s right and left hemispheres. The right hemisphere – abstract side – creates an image memory of the beads on the Abacus while the left hemisphere – logical side – applies the requisite rules to perform the calculation.  Abacus is related to mathematics it will improve the children's calculation 5 times faster.
